Data processed and purposes
We may process identification and contact details, information included in messages and the details needed to assess information or quotation requests. Data is used to answer enquiries, prepare and follow up quotations, support customers, manage pre-contractual or contractual relationships and comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
Please do not submit personal data that is not necessary for your request. Where a quotation requires special-category data, including health data, processing will be limited to what is strictly necessary and carried out under the applicable legal basis.
Legal bases
Depending on the circumstances, processing is based on pre-contractual steps requested by the data subject, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, the legitimate interest in answering and following up enquiries, or consent where required. Consent may be withdrawn at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Recipients and service providers
Data may be shared with Generali Tranquilidade to assess and manage a request, and with technology providers needed for forms, email and hosting. Data may also be disclosed to public authorities where legally required. We do not sell personal data.
Microsoft Forms
Specific quotation requests are collected through Microsoft Forms opened on an external page. Microsoft may process technical data and the information entered in the form under the terms applicable to that service. Before submitting, check the data and review the privacy information shown on the form itself.
Retention
Data is kept only for as long as needed to answer and follow up a request and, where a contractual relationship exists, for the periods required by legal and regulatory obligations and the establishment or defence of legal claims. Requests that do not result in a contract are deleted or anonymised when no longer needed, subject to applicable statutory periods.
Your rights
Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to the processing of your data and withdraw consent. To exercise your rights, use the email address stated in this policy. We may need to verify the requester's identity.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (CNPD).
Cookies and local storage
This site does not use Google Analytics. Your language preference is stored locally in your browser for future visits. Embedded YouTube and HeyGen videos play only when the visitor chooses to start them. Loading these players may share data with their providers. Use of these players and Microsoft Forms is subject to the respective providers' privacy practices.
Security and updates
Appropriate measures are used to protect data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. This policy may be updated when services or legal requirements change; the date of the current version is shown at the top of this page.
