PRACTICAL GUIDE

What should I review in my insurance each year?

Life changes. A simple review helps align your protection with your situation today, identify overlaps and answer questions.

  1. Home and belongings: have you renovated, moved, bought equipment or changed how you use your home? Review building and contents sums insured.
  2. Family and income: have you had children, changed jobs, taken out a loan or become responsible for someone financially?
  3. Transport and health: have your car, usual driver or care needs changed? Check whether your protection still fits.
  4. If you run a business: review your activity, team, payroll, premises, equipment and turnover. Gather the changes for a joint assessment.

A review does not necessarily mean buying more. It may mean updating an insured amount, correcting details, adjusting priorities or understanding your existing cover.

Prepare: policies, renewal dates, changes over the past year and three questions you would like answered.
